In my free time, I enjoy performing Stand-Up Comedy, playing Poker, Rock Climbing, and working on personal projects.
September 2023 - Present
As a Data Engineer 1 for Boston Scientific, I have so far been responsible for Database Migration, Reporting, Validation, and Analytics. I migrated my team's Hermes Scrap Notification System from Python to .NET, transferring 200 jobs, rewriting 60 queries in PostgreSQL, and modifying database architecture to support integration with Tableau and SSRS reports. I also used DataDog to test and reduce latency on Hermes' AWS Microservice. Alongside these tasks, I have collaborated with Business Unit Representatives to develop analytics reports in accordance with needs and limitations.

During my final year at college, I served as a Co-Op employee on the Data Operations team for Boston Scientific, working ~10-20 hours per week. In this role, I helped set up the Hermes Scrap Notification System, improved run-times on 50+ queries, and set up the DataOps Sharepoint Error Reporting system.
June 2023 - August 2023
At Boston Scientific, I served as an intern on the Data Operations Team. In this role, I performed tasks related to reporting, database architecture, and query optimization. Specifically, I refactored 12 reports to pull from PostgreSQL Datalake, wrote a Python program to parse Excel files and generate insert script for machine configuration database, and reduced AWS processing time on 16 PostgreSQL queries by ~1 minute each.
September 2023 - May 2023
At the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, I served as a Teaching Assistant for CSCI 1913, Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms. In this role, I taught core computer science concepts to a lab session of ~50 students. I also held one-on-one Office Hours, wherein I gave individual instruction to students struggling to grasp course concepts. Through teaching the subject, I also expanded my own knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
June 2022 - August 2022
At CTS Corporation, I served as an intern on the Data Analytics team. In this role, I performed tasks related to reporting, analysis, data entry, and validation. Specifically, I created Tableau Dashboards used in Earnings Reports, developed a web app in HTML and PHP to securely enter data into a SQL database, and produced a C++ script that automatically validated ~200 SAP documents.
